| Welcome to the Youth Shaggers of Hampton Roads web site! Early 2007, Roy and Janice Black had a vision to help our young Junior Shaggers! With a passion, dedication and Persistance the first event was held, an Auction. Money was made to offset expenses for our local young shaggers to travel and compete. entry fees and admission was paid for several local competitiors to compete in the 2007 national shag dance championships and 2007 usa grand national dance championships.
june 29th was the first junior shag dance day with 30 juniors in
attendance
(15 were new junior shaggers being introduced to shag for the first time.
grandparents, parents, aunts & uncles plus many junior supports came!
